Job purpose : The Senior Project Engineer is accountable for coordination of engineering activities, in charge of design, technical requisitioning and subcontracting of an entire facility (whole project or portion of project) up to the scheduled completion, in accordance with Company’s QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes , construction needs, schedule and budgetReporting lines and interactions : Hierarchically reports to : Operations Manager Operationally reports to : Project ManagerDirectly supervises (operationally) : Project Engineers, Lead Discipline Engineers.Key interactions (internally, externally) : Internally : Engineering and non-engineering disciplines, Group engineering centersExternally : Clients, subcontractors, vendors, licensors, authorities, partnersJob scope and Accountabilities : Represents the company towards clients, partners, subcontractors, vendors and third parties for technical subjects and may contribute to business development initiatives by reporting information or suggestion to the Project manager. He / she supports engineering and process / HSED disciplines in front of clients, partners, subcontractors and vendors. Ensures technical project execution within time and budget, according to selected strategy, monitoring compliance with QHSES requirements, contractual commitments and ESG roadmap. Defines engineering coordination procedures, issues the basic data for design, and approves general project specifications. He / she ensures timely approval of engineering and requisitioning documents from the client, as well as timely technical and economical definition of change orders and / or claims. Contributes to schedule preparation, actively controls schedule execution and proposes corrective actions when needed. He / she ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the project manager and client. Contributes to respect of material and man / hours budget. He / she validates optimized technical / economical solutions proposed by engineering and process / HSED disciplines and arbitrates as necessary. Ensures coordination of interfaces among engineering disciplines and with procurement, construction, vendors, licensors, and partners. He / she ensures timely review / issue of Subcontracting documents (scope of works, price schedule, list of engineering documents). Contributes to defining and coordinating the permitting process with local authorities to obtain approval on engineering documents. He / she promotes lessons learnt continuous collection & sharing processus. Assesses transverse lessons learnt applicable for the project. He / she establishes project close out for Engineering Management part. Critically reviews interfaces between disciplines and / or project stakeholders. He / she deals with both technical and economical / scheduling aspects of project change orders. Profile : Must have : .
