Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description:
· Build collaborative partnerships with managers to support business objectives as they relate to people impact, compliance, and organizational values.
· Maintains a working knowledge of the overall business in addition to the products/services of assigned customer groups.
· Facilitates people initiatives and supports leaders to ensure matters are approached fairly and objectively.
· Supports with workforce planning and management of headcount to maximize resources and manage costs.
· Assists managers in describing new roles, identifying appropriate job level for new roles, and works with recruiting and managers to ensure open positions are filled.
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions).
· Manages compliance with all Federal/State/Local employment laws and regulations
· Manages employee relations issues and investigations as needed to resolve potential conflicts, violations of policy, or workplace issues.
· Actively engages with employees to stay abreast of work environment trends.
· Recommends opportunities for improving employee engagement and talent retention.
· Identifies training needs for customer groups and individual coaching needs.
· Partners effectively with HR COE and Shared Services teams (e.g., Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, etc.) to ensure customer groups receive the necessary services, support, and communications from these centralized HR functions.
· Acts as a change agent for company initiatives and programs.
· Maintains and updates HR records, supporting quarterly audits within the region for data integrity.
· Prepares ad-hoc HR-related reports and assists with compiling data, as needed.
· Recommends process and policy improvements, as well as participate in P&C and Compliance projects for new policy development, as needed.
· Provide day-to-day performance management guidance for client groups within region.
· Ensures new policies and programs are effectively communicated and actioned to meet goals and objectives.
· Reinforces the organization’s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching.
You are meant for this job if:
· At least 7 - 10 years of relevant human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or another related field with a passion for human capital strategy
· Knowledge of HR management methods and tools
· Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of TechnipFMC personnel, as well as external vendors/customers
· Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
· Ability to analyze data and use it to support decisions and business justifications
· Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent written communication skills, including editing and proofreading, for BU announcements and training materials
· General understanding of fundamental laws and processes related to Human Resources.
· Planning and organizational skills
· SAP experience preferred
· Relevant oil and gas industry experience preferred
