Job Description
TechniQuest Corporation's Princeton, NJ office is looking for an experienced structural engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will work with a team on various projects in the public, private and institutional sectors. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise while working on diverse engineering projects with a team of experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Working within a team of professionals in developing structural design plans on assigned projects.
- Create drawings using software like REVIT (BIM), AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
- Perform structural calculations with Excel and Mathcad Prime
- Lending your experience in software like STAAD Pro, SAFE, RAM Structural Systems, SAP2000, and ETABS
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering focus. Master’s degrees are a plus.
- 15 years of Professional Structural Engineering Experience.
- Proven experience in Bridge Design, Bridge Inspection, or Conditional Inspection required
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License preferred
- Skilled in developing structural engineering calculations, analysis models, detailed designs, and contract drawings.
- Developed knowledge of state and city building codes, along with industry-standard specifications.
- Extensive experience using all previously mentioned software
- Proven safety track record and ability to strictly adhere to TQC safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work potentially non-traditional schedules to meet project requirements that may extend beyond the typical work week
Salary Range
- $100,000 to $130,000. Please note, compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, qualifications, and experience.
