We here at Techniserv, Inc are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our talented Electrical team.
This position is onsite in Berwick, PA with a weekly schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. An excellent benefits package with insurance, education, 401K, employee assistance program, and yearly bonus is also included. Pay commensurate with experience and education.
The Electrical Technician position is available for individuals with experience in the following areas:
Required Experience:
- High School diploma required.
- 6-8 or more years of electrical and instrumentation assembly.
- HS Vocational school in technical trade or equivalent additional experience required.
- 1- or 2-year technical school degree/certificate, preferred not required.
Job Details:
- Responsible for installing and testing wiring, electrical devices, control equipment on industrial equipment.
- Conduit layout, bending and installation.
- Electrical control panel and instrumentation wiring/installation.
- Installation of industrial network devices and wiring systems.
- Quality verification for panels, wiring and instrumentation installation.
- Setup and calibration of instrumentation.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Should be comfortable with field wiring, troubleshooting, and instrument checks.
- Configuration of Instrumentation and VFDs.
- Additional responsibilities may include building and equipment maintenance when necessary.
- Perform all other duties and functions as assigned.
