About the role.
Techno is seeking a Junior Recruiter to join our team in Princeton, NJ. In this role you will support our team by sourcing, screening, and qualifying candidates for various positions. You will play a key role in attracting top talent and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and technical writing abilities.

What you'll do
- Identify potential candidates through various platforms, such as job boards, social media, and networking, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Review resumes and applications to evaluate relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' suitability and interest in the position.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, provide candidates with interview details and preparation materials, and coordinate with both candidates and interviewers to ensure a smooth interview process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, provide timely feedback, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Develop a pool of candidates (passive and active) through networking and headhunting.
- Assist with various tasks, including job postings, data entry, and other administrative duties.
- Write and post job descriptions on job boards and company websites, ensuring that postings are accurate and compelling to attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct reference checks for selected candidates to verify employment history and qualifications as part of the candidate vetting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or related field is a plus but not required.
- Must be self-motivated with strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
