The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture and experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, and Athena.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS
- BUILD and maintain APIs using Python and relevant frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of new features and technologies
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow developers
- Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure
Required Skills:
- 3 - 5 years of Python programming experience
- 3 years of experience with AWS services
- Minimum 2 years of API building experience
- Experience with database design, setup, and maintenance
- Experience with frameworks: Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD, Apigee API management
- AWS certifications related to data engineering or databases are a plus
- Experience working in Higher Ed institutions
- Experience using Agile/Scrum practices
- Workday implementation experience
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, and Athena
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems or related field or extensive applicable experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
