Responsible for overall technology advancements and development for their role s defined area of focus.
- This Product Owner will work very close with various ITS teams to define, develop, and launch new digital features and capabilities.
- This Product Owner is also a key leader within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) that the client has adopted across multiple areas of the business.
- This role offers the unique opportunity to create new experiences for our customers, as well as improve internal business processes.
- Individuals in this role must live and breathe all things digital, and have the aptitude for both technical and business requirements.
- Duties and Responsibilities (Key Deliverables) :
- Lead meetings
- Roadmap creation
- Defining, grooming, and planning of the work
- Coordination with existing POs and TPOs across Merchandising, Store Team Member Tools, and EDAA (on the IT and Business side)
- This PO will report to an individual on the Business Side
- Ideally local to Grand Rapids, or at the very least, close to another Market Format Store (Lansing, Detroit area) as they will benefit from store and Market Format visits - Leader and decision maker for assigned agile team(s) within the SAFe framework.
- Sees projects from start to finish, including detailed breakdown of features at the beginning, through measuring success post-rollout.
- Conveys the vision and goals to their team for each new feature prioritized.
- Creates, owns and is measured against their agile team's objectives for each 10-week program increment.
- Maintains and prioritizes their team's backlog during the sprint planning process.
- Attends all regularly scheduled meetings as part of the SAFe framework, including sprint planning, sprint demos, system demos, retrospectives, and program increment planning events.
- Communicates status and progress externally.
Required Skills : Job Requirements : Education : Bachelor's degree required Experience : 5 years previous retail systems experience preferred. Strong understanding of Agile / SAFe Project Management Experience
