Our client seeks a Senior Enterprise Data Analyst with Business Analyst Skills to support a large data transformation and its implementation into the organization and business users. Opportunity post contract to join organization as fulltime employee. Working closely with business and technical partners, this position collaboratively designs data assets to meet the reporting and analytics needs of the organization. In this role, the analyst is responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining data solutions optimized for business consumption, e.g., centralized business intelligence teams, front line leaders, operational analysts, etc. The analyst will have the opportunity to develop technical solutions that deliver data to non-technical users as well as advanced data users. As a senior member of a fast-paced team in a growing organization, the analyst works in parallel on multiple projects and workflows to develop cohesive and comprehensive solutions that deliver key data sets quickly and efficiently.
Required Skills : Strong understanding of classic DDM- Data Dimensional Modeling, Data Mapping, ER Diagrams in an Enterprise Environment No less than 5 years Data Modeling - Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling using data source such as Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, S3 Ability to run a deep dive of business processes and reporting to identify their needs to meet target state. Experience implementing Use Cases to align, support business needs and their use of tech to create solutions. Experience building out data marts and raw data for Architecture, Tableau / PowerBI developers, Data Scientists teams to step-in and support for identified Business needs via new data platform. Strong Data Governance, Data Security, Data Storage-Access / Encrytion / Masking and Data Integration skills Ability to write / read complex SQL. An understanding of Snowflake Best Practices for data storage Business Analyst skill and ability to gather requirements, set meetings, meet deadlines, identify technical data needs with / for teams that aren?t part of your organization and have other priorities. Ability to ID and document data requirements metrics Experience with handing off data requirements on / offshore technical team.
