Infrastructure Automation Engineer

The Opportunity: We are seeking an Infrastructure Automation Engineer for an upcoming client project.

• Role: Infrastructure Automation Engineer
• Experience: 6-9 Years
• Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Duration: 12 Months Contract
  
  

Responsibilities

• Utilize server build automation tools such as MaaS, Metify, and MetalSoft.
• Troubleshoot and resolve environmental issues, including firewalls, authentication, DNS, DHCP, PXE, and network configurations.
• Perform KickStart, Chef, TFTP, and OS installations.
• Implement best practices in alignment with change management processes.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with DELL, Intel, and CISCO hardware.
• Technical expertise in VMware vSphere installation, configuration, and administration (ESXi 7.x, 8.x).
• Familiarity with Jira and other Agile tools.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following areas:
• Python
• API Development (Flask, Swagger)
• PHP
• Bash scripting
• Writing code and unit tests in Linux
