TCI has an immediate need for an experienced IT Product Owner / Project Manager in Louisville, KY. This is not a C2C opportunity. This is Direct Hire and work is performed on-site in Louisville, KY.The ideal candidate will possess a blend of an IT Product Owner and / or Project Management experience and technical acumen in the healthcare and (or) insurance sector. One will be responsible for defining software applications vision, strategy, and delivering solutions. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure products meet user needs and business goals. One will spearhead the implementation of IT applications and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration and support of technology solutions adhering to regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for working with stakeholders to help identify user needs, breaking tasks into stories, managing the backlog and setting expectations. You will also coordinate resources needed to test products. RESPONSIBILITIES Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that reflects customer needs, market trends, and technological advancements. Lead end-to-end project management for the implementation of IT applications Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans. Work with developers and analysts to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and concise. Collaborate with UX / UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces and workflows. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Facilitate system testing and training sessions to ensure smooth transition of IT services into production. Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary hardware, software, and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and accessible for reporting purposes. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and deviations from the project plan. Travel to project locations at key points in the project lifecycle.REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) as an IT product owner and (or) IT project manager, within IT healthcare industry. Understanding of 3rd party Sales and (or) proprietary application implementations. Experience working with regulatory bodies and implementing compliance measures within IT projects. Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or similar. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, LucidChart). Proficiency in project management tools and software for project resource planning, task tracking, scheduling, and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Basic understanding of software development technologies and processes to make informed product decisions. Ability to analyze data and user feedback to identify trends and prioritize product features.Desired Skills Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification is preferred. Experience leveraging lean / six sigma methodologies a plus
