Job Title: Technology Summer Assistant - (we need 2 hires)

Calendar: June-August
Hours: Full Time
Hourly Wage: $15.00/hr
Job Summary:
The Technology Summer Assistant works directly with all members of the Technology Team to assist in the cleaning, movement, replacement, configuration, and minor troubleshooting of all classroom technology. Exact duties and responsibilities will vary with each project the Technology Team accomplishes. This is a temporary summer position.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of classroom technology, including desktop computers, computer monitors, Chromebooks, printers, and related connections and cables
- Ability to take instruction, learn, and apply procedures to complete given duties
- Skills necessary for effective and professional communication with technology staff members
- Ability to perform physical labor;
- able to lift fifty pounds
- walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to participate and contribute effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage time and duties efficiently and responsibly
- Flexibility to quickly adjust to ever-changing priorities and job responsibilities
- Reliable transportation between locations
- Qualities necessary to accomplish the duties and responsibilities listed below
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks in a warehouse environment
- Unbox, configure, and setup desktop/laptop computers, Chromebooks, printers, and associated peripherals
- Clean computer equipment and peripherals
- Move, assemble, disassemble, and clean computer furniture
- Electronic filing and data entry in document management systems
- Perform specific support tasks as deemed appropriate by technology department guidelines
- Create and maintain documentation for information technology staff, school staff, and school administration members
- Act professionally, ethically, and confidentially in all aspects of employment
- Other department-related duties as assigned by the Administrator of Information Technology
