Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
Write and maintain code to automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and additional IaC tools.
Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines, focusing on seamless production deployments.
Cloud & Infrastructure Leadership
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on AWS and cloud operations, including Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and serverless deployments.
Recommend and implement new tools and processes that enhance resiliency, scalability, and efficiency.
Collaboration & Design
Partner with application development teams to design and implement full-stack cloud solutions in alignment with technology and product roadmaps.
Lead peer reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code are consistently delivered.
Continuous Improvement & Ownership
Take charge of existing technology solutions, proactively identify opportunities for automation, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance processes.
Roadmap, sunset, and replace legacy implementations with modern, secure, and efficient solutions.
Agile & DevSecOps Practices
Integrate Agile and DevSecOps methodologies in development, testing, deployment, and monitoring for top-tier performance and security.
Utilize system monitoring and self-healing to maintain robust, high-availability infrastructure.
Documentation & Support
Create and maintain thorough documentation.
Offer creative troubleshooting and problem-solving support, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent commensurate experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems with a focus on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and automation.
Technical Proficiency
Hands-on experience architecting and maintaining AWS cloud solutions.
Demonstrated knowledge in containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and DevSecOps best practices.
Expertise in IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, along with scripting in Python or shell.
Proven track record building and optimizing CI / CD pipelines.
Additional Skills
Strong Agile methodology and DevSecOps planning skills.
Proficient with source control (e.g., Git) and various Linux distributions.
Excellent writing / documentation abilities.
Creative problem-solver and team player.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
