Job Description
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for professionally managing the TPI inventory database. These elements include, but not limited to shipping & receiving equipment, preparing gear for onsite delivery, perform weekly inventory cycles and maintaining the warehouse and manufacturing area.
The Warehouse Technician reports to Director of Operations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Technician must be able to do the following:
a. The Warehouse Technician will properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory
b. The Warehouse Technician will complete and log daily activities including: receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments
c. The Warehouse Technician will conduct cycle-counts of inventory and manage daily log
d. The Warehouse Technician will enter material into TPI Inventory database
e. The Warehouse Technician will maintain all vehicle service requirements, as well as ensure vehicles are restocked and clean for daily use
f. The Warehouse Technician will load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same
g. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for maintaining the TPI warehouse and manufacturing area
h. Tracking all TPI owned tools for the office
i. The Warehouse Technician will maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner
j. The Warehouse Technician will complete other responsibilities as assigned
k. The Warehouse Technician will require operating both forklifts and company vehicles
l. The Warehouse Technician will efficiently carry out all task assignments
Qualifications and Skills
a. Qualifications
1. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
2. Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets TPI Driving Privileges standards
3. Prefer familiarity with cycle-counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift
4. Knowledge of Audio & Visual equipment preferred
b. Certifications
OSHA 10 & Forklift certifications are preferred
c. Software Skills
Working proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, company software applications, and all manufacturer design and configuration programs required for certifications and specific project tasks.
d. General Skills
1. Must have knowledge of and experience with labeling and storing inventory
2. Must have the physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory
3. Must be able to use power tools
e. Communication Skills
The ability to interface with vendors, delivery drivers, coworkers, all assigned team members, and to effectively communicate gear shipment status, warehouse locations, and any specific needs required to complete the project.
