Cybersecurity Network Engineer

Are you a cybersecurity expert ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, Houston-based manufacturing company? We are seeking a Cybersecurity Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure our corporate IT infrastructure. In this critical role, you will plan, administer, and maintain our network, server, and security systems to ensure 24 / 7 / 365 reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the availability and performance of production systems, acting as the primary liaison with third-party vendors.
- Install, configure, and administer security updates, patches, and components in both physical and virtual environments.
- Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Perform penetration testing, intrusion detection / prevention, and security solution reviews to maintain robust system security.
- Lead IT security upgrades, updates, and other critical engineering efforts.
- Administer Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to enforce secure BYOD policies and network access controls.
- Configure and maintain servers, routers, switches, and firewalls, prioritizing cybersecurity and system reliability.
- Develop disaster recovery plans and perform drills, ensuring systems are ready for contingencies.
- Provide administration and troubleshooting support for hosted IP-based phone systems.
- Continuously expand your knowledge by attending industry training and seminars.
