Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure automation and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AWS and CI / CD pipeline management, with hands-on experience in automation tools and integrations with ServiceNow. This role involves working in a hybrid setup in New Haven, Connecticut, requiring in-office presence for 3 days a week.
Must have skills : AWS CDK, AWS Code Deploy, Jenkins (Expert), Python (Expert), Terraform (Expert)
Key Responsibilities
- Implement modular infrastructure automation flows using tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK for multi-step provisioning (e.g., databases, compute, VPCs).
- Integrate ServiceNow with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK) and asset management systems for seamless infrastructure and IT operations management.
- Develop and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD , ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Implement cloud cost optimization strategies through FinOps integration during automated product provisioning.
- Utilize scripting (e.g., Python , PowerShell) for compliance automation and custom automation tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of automation tools across cloud environments (AWS as the primary focus; experience with GCP and Azure is a plus).
- Ensure the effective automation of both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including database, firewall, and VPC provisioning.
