Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer

Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of electrical design experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, etc.).
- PLC programming skills (Allen-Bradley, CODESYS, Bosch RexRoth, Siemens, Beckhoff).
- Knowledge of IEC programming (Ladder Logic, Function Blocks, Structured Text).
- Web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Python, Visual Basic) are preferred.
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 20% (including internationally).
Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical control systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of these systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement control system solutions that meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control systems, including circuit diagrams, PLC programs, and other related documents.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure control system designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for control system designs, including user manuals, instruction sheets, and other related materials.
- Troubleshoot and debug control system issues, working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- Participate in the development of new technologies and tools to improve control system design and implementation.
Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience in electrical design and control system development. Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and IEC programming is essential, as well as web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Python, Visual Basic) which are preferred but not required. A valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 20% (including internationally) is also necessary for this role.
