We are seeking Workday Senior Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the core Finance technology. As part of a team that s leading the next wave of disruption on a whole new scale, you will play an integral part in advancing Client s Finance Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes/platforms and bring your expertise to drive innovative design & solutions.
General Responsibilities:
Work with Tech Lead and product owners to understand desired Workday Finance module, application capabilities and testing scenarios
Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
Design and deliver solutions in Workday platform with modules for extensions , Prism , Extend & Integrations across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders, and influence solutions across business partners
Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
Continually research, test and stay up to date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes, and capabilities
Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance
Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree & at least 9 years experience in Workday FINS architecture and platform engineering on Finance platforms (Prior Peoplesoft experience is plus)
Experience designing and developing integration solutions
Experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Experience working with Workday platform with modules for extensions , Prism , Extend & Integrations across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers
Experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday using Core Connectors, Prism, Extend, Workday Studio, Custom Reports or RaaS solutions
Experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Workday Integration Developer certifications (Preferred)
Designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, MS Azure or another cloud service
