Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Technical Business Analyst at TechProjects. The Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, conducting business process and systems analysis, and utilizing strong analytical skills to drive successful IT projects.

Qualifications
A Technical Business Analyst (BA) leading the web portal design and development for customer and vendor portals is a a mix of business, technical, and leadership responsibilities.
1. Business & Functional Analysis- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders (customers, vendors, internal teams).
- Define use cases, user journeys, and workflows for the portals.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for developers.
- Ensure the portals align with supply chain, inventory, and order management systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for portal features, integrations, and security.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create a user-friendly, responsive design.
- Work with developers and architects to define the technology stack (e.g., React, Angular, .NET, Java, APIs).
- Very strong SQl experience is a must
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery.
- Ensure the portals support features like online ordering, real-time inventory updates, invoicing, shipment tracking, and vendor communications.
- Define API integrations with ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.), CRM, payment gateways, and third-party logistics providers.
- Work with data teams to ensure proper data flows between portals and backend systems.
- Define data models for customer and vendor transactions, pricing, promotions, and discounts.
- Ensure real-time synchronization with inventory, billing, and reporting systems.
- Define test cases and acceptance criteria for portal features.
- Work with QA teams to conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and resolve bugs.
- Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS for payments, GDPR for customer data).
- Serve as a bridge between business, IT, development teams, and third-party vendors.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Prepare status reports, demos, and presentations for executives and business teams.
- Monitor portal performance and user feedback for improvements.
- Work on enhancements, bug fixes, and scaling the solution for future business growth.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and end users.
- Business Process Analysis – Understanding wholesale & retail grocery operations.
- Web Development Knowledge – Familiarity with front-end/back-end technologies, APIs.
- ERP & Supply Chain Integration – Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Data & Reporting – Ability to work with databases, SQL, and analytics tools.
- Project Management – Agile, Scrum, Jira, or similar tools.
- Stakeholder Communication – Strong presentation and requirement-gathering skills.
