Low Voltage Wiring Technition

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, as well strong skills installing EMT conduit. The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of low voltage systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including security, and communication systems.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform installation tasks efficiently.
• Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the low voltage industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various hand tools.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and networking principles is essential.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A valid driver's license may be required for field service duties.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $18.00 - $26.49 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
