Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Benson, MN 56215 (Onsite)
Duration: Full Time
Note - Strong knowledge in SAP MM, EWM and S4 modules is a must.
Job Description & Skill Requirement:
- Identify the bottle necks and continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Every day meet with production manager, supervisor and operators to identify the line issues and provide continuous ME/IE support to production line.
- Document the safety issues or concerns to the respective team and take the corrective action.
- Establish manpower requirements, line and sub-assembly balancing data, and expectancy time performances,
- Work close to operators and record Voice of customers
- Document existing process and present to top management graphically about the bottle necks and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize Lean/Six Sigma principles and methodologies in making process improvements.
- Conduct CI events and implement changes to the production line
- Create / Update standard work instructions (SWI)
- Cross communication with other discipline (Materials, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering) about the changes and improvements planned.
- Maintain and manage projects and tasks through MS project and SharePoint.
- Maintained Material Master data using SAP S/4HANA MM module and discarding obsolete items.
- Analyzing data from multiple operating systems to develop and maintain PFEP in SAP
- Kanban and kit cart improvements
