Oracle HCM QA Lead
Contract: 6 months- CTH
Location: Overland Park, KS- Hybrid (3 days per week)
Pay rate: 60/hr W2
Certifications: CSTE or ISTQB Certification preferred
Summary
Client is looking for a QA Lead with Oracle HCM or similar ERP system experience. We need your help to provide leadership for the QA & testing activities on this implementation. You’ll partner with Client's team members and the System Integrator (SI) who is helping Client migrate to HCM, to understand business requirements. As a QA Lead you will be responsible for implementing standard QA/ testing practices and overseeing and/or participating in all aspects of project testing on HCM implementation project.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree. Technology or Computer Science degree preferred. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

As a QA Lead you will be responsible for implementing standard QA/ testing practices and overseeing and/or participating in all aspects of project testing on HCM implementation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Client's QA process guidelines are followed.
- Engage with SI to develop the overall test strategy for the project.
- Review requirements specifications and design documents
- Review the Test Scripts supplied by SI, coordinate with workstream Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs for review.
- Develop test scripts utilizing business requirements/functional documentation & design specifications.
- Execute SIT test scripts, record actual results, document, and retest defects.
- Review Unit/SIT/UAT test results, test cases/results
- Participate in the build sprint(s) and SIT activities to ensure defects are triaged, tracked, and dispositioned using the testing tools and methods.
- Engage with SI, QA Analyst & Business Process Leads to outline test plan for each cycle.
- Partner with Workstream Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMSs to develop UAT test scripts for business scenarios and coordinate UAT execution as well as ensure defects are triaged, tracked, and dispositioned using the testing tools and methods.
- Provide orientation and tool training (as applicable) to the?internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with PM to communicate and document QA related risks, provide QA status and metrics.
- Coordinating testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution and lead defect triage meetings.
- Provide input for Go-NoGo decisions and participate in go-NoGo meeting.
- Have 12 years of experience in leading SIT & UAT testing in Agile/Hybrid environment.
- Oracle HCM Fusion functionality experience including Core HR, Benefits, LA, Payroll, Talent Management, Reports is required.
- Familiarity with Oracle CEMLI / RICEW
- Experience managing QA activities with onshore/offshore through all the phases of testing is required.
- Experience in Data Migration testing, Functional, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing & E2E testing.
- Experience developing test artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Execution and creating test data is required.
- Experience working with business and IT teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and test scripts.
- Experience leading testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution and leading defect triage meetings is required.
- Excellent communication, attention to detail & documentation skills required.
- Have good knowledge of QA methodologies and process.
- Have hands on experience on writing manual tests, executing test runs, SIT & UAT test planning & execution.
