Reporting to the Manager, Service Management, this outstanding Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic initiatives that improve IT service delivery across the organization. Using established project management methodologies and ITSM best practices, you will ensure initiatives are driven optimally, align with service management standards, and drive continuous improvement to support efficient and scalable IT operations.
The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for leading and delivering high-impact ServiceNow projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving adoption through strategic organizational change. This role requires extensive experience in ServiceNow implementations, solid project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate with business and IT partners to complete successful deployments. The position involves running complex ServiceNow initiatives, optimizing platform capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise processes.

\n- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
- Define project plans, establish milestones, and manage risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Be responsible for the configuration, customization, and integration of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and GRC
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and ServiceNow partners to define project scope, requirements, and success metrics
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure seamless adoption of ServiceNow solutions
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to executive partners through status reports, dashboards, and steering committee meetings
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and promote an out-of-the-box (OOTB) approach for long-term maintainability
- Drive standardization, automation, and process improvements within the ServiceNow ecosystem
- Establish governance frameworks to supervise compliance, change control, and quality assurance
- Proactively identify project risks and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution
- Lead organizational change management efforts, including end-user training, communication plans, and adoption strategies
- Handle vendor relationships, contracts, and partner concerns to ensure flawless ServiceNow delivery
- 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a solid focus on ServiceNow implementations
- Proven experience leading complex ServiceNow deployments, including ITSM, ITAM, or other ServiceNow modules
- Strong experience in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and handle multiple partners
- Knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, integrations (APIs, MID Servers), and automation capabilities
- Hands-on experience working with ServiceNow partners, developers, and system integrators
- Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM frameworks, and Enterprise Service Management principles
- Superb communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe) certifications are a plus
- Experience in enterprise-level IT transformations leveraging ServiceNow
- Understanding of ServiceNow licensing models and cost optimization strategies
- Experience in process automation, workflow design, and digital transformation initiatives
- Background in mining, manufacturing, finance, or other asset-intensive industries is an asset
