We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to support our client based in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Opportunity
TECKpert is looking to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to manage the testing of infrastructure remediations required for systems integrating with a new enterprise accounting system. This is an effort to modernize core financial systems assets supporting financial planning, analysis, and management functions. The assets include interfaces, enterprise applications, databases, automated processes, and reporting programs within the organization, requiring remediation due to the adoption of standardized business processes, transition to new chart of accounts values, and redevelopment of interfaces to the statewide accounting system.
This role will support this modernization effort over the next three years.
The ideal candidate with have background in financial systems and experience in managing testing processes in IT modernization projects.

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $155,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership & Team Management: Serve as Scrum Master and servant leader for the QA team; mentor and guide team members on quality assurance best practices
- Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and both manual and automated test scripts to ensure compliance with FDOT quality standards
- Collaboration: Work daily with IT, business, and external teams to monitor, track, and report on defects and to support infrastructure remediation initiatives
- Process Improvement: Analyze current QA processes, recommend enhancements, and establish quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all applications, interfaces, and systems adhere to established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications

Qualifications You Need
A successful candidatehas the following experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
- A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance testing
- A minimum of five (5) years of prior management experience, supervisory, or team leader experience
- A minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience with Enterprise Architecture
- A minimum of two (2) years of prior experience with transportation technology
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in developing and conducting test processes for multiple types of systems, client users and/or units across an organization
- Experience in a DevOps environment is highly desired
- Knowledge of Informatica IICS Cloud Data Integration tools and Snowflake
