Tecton Products, a member of the Marvin Family of companies, is hiring an Automation & Controls Technician to be a part of our Engineering team!
This role provides an opportunity to be a part of the full cycle of designing and improving our equipment and seeing them work in production. You'll stay active working on numerous projects and collaborate with various teams including Production, Maintenance, and Research and Development.

Highlights of your role
- Build custom equipment designed for and by Tecton for Production use
- Maintain and program automated machines and equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Perform machine wiring as appropriate
- Diagnose, replace, and repair faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of machines and equipment throughout the plant
- Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
- Drive successful completion of process improvement projects, encouraging a collaborative environment for achievement
- Work well in a team and individually; demonstrate the ability to share expertise and be open to other ideas
You're a good fit if you have
- Two-year technical degree preferred
- 3-5 years of proven experience may substitute for a degree
- PLC programming experience or education preferred
- Proficiency in effective communication across different departmental levels, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service
