Job Description:
Candidates for this position must be reliable, have pride in their work, and flexible to the needs and changes of weekly/daily goals. Responsibilities include caring for annual plant material before, during and after planting (watering, fertilizing, pruning, planting and disease identification). Outside of seasonal planting dates, this position will provide watering services to landscape projects as needed.
Requirements:
· 1 year experience in horticulture/landscaping field
· Knowledgeable in annual plant material and disease identification
· Ability to take direction from Annual Flower Manager for container/landscape bed plantings, opportunities to design containers
· Ability to lift 40lbs
· Ability to work 40 hours/week, overtime opportunities available
· Knowledge of Des Moines area/able to navigate by map
· Must have valid DL & clean driving record
· Must have excellent communication skills

Pay Rate:
We offer competitive wages starting at $16-$20 per hour which will be determined on your experience.
