Duties
- Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, confirmations, and reminders.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct documentation reviews to ensure compliance with office policies and regulations.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and billing processes.
- Provide administrative support by answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office environment to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with patients and their families.
- Assist in coding procedures for insurance claims as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, dental terminology, and medical records management.
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills, including typing proficiency and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is advantageous but not required.
