Job Description:
As a Safety Manager you are responsible for guaranteeing that the onsite personnel are taking proper safety precautions, executing the sites designated safety plans for developing, implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. This role involves conducting daily site walks, audits, and safety inspections across various field locations. Responsibilities and tasks may vary throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site walks, safety audits and field inspections to identify and address potential hazards
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations
- Maintain up to date knowledge of OSHA regulations and ensure compliance across all projects
- Collaborate with project managers and field staff to promote a culture of safety
- Accident/Incident Investigation
- Training Program Development & Delivery
- Job Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessments
- Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and industry standards
- Good communication skills to collaborate with estimators, project managers, and subcontractors
Requirements
Working Conditions
- Degreed safety professional with 10 years of continuous safety experience in construction
- 10 years full-time construction safety experience and OSHA 500 certification
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) listed with the Board of Certified Safety
- Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) listed with the Board of Certified Safety or equivalent and 5 years of safety experience
- Other Duties as assigned This is a Safety Sensitive position.
