Immediate Opening for Lead Bartender at TeeBox Indoor Golf Club in Cave Creek

We are seeking a creative Lead Bartender with mixology experience to help develop an innovative beverage program for an exciting new indoor golf concept with a full commercial kitchen and an awesome bar. Our facility will offer a unique experience for golf enthusiasts and casual players alike with state-of-the-art TrackMan golf simulators, a full bar with a custom tap-tower with 40 taps (24 beers & 16 direct draw wines, and cold-brew coffee), and a delicious food menu.

As our Lead Bartender, you will oversee bar operations and work with our team of service professionals to ensure a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests. This is a full time hourly position with tips.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the bar, including menu development, beverage P&L responsibility, inventory management, ordering, and staff training.
• Interact with patrons to provide personalized cocktail recommendations and share your knowledge of spirits and mixology techniques. Create a welcoming and memorable experience for each guest.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute a creative, on-trend cocktail menu that aligns with our concept and food offerings to ensure operational excellence in every aspect of our food & beverage program.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar space that exceeds all health and safety standards.
• Recruit, train, and lead bartenders and bar backs to ensure high-quality service and adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and health code.
• Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, and techniques. Share your knowledge with the team through training sessions and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist with expert knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and cocktail ingredients.
• A passion for creativity in mixology to deliver visually stunning and innovative cocktails.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Bar leadership role in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability motivate, and train a team of beverage service professionals.
• Knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and experience developing creative beverage programs.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle a fast-paced environment efficiently.
• Knowledge of food and beverage regulations, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in inventory management and cost control practices.
• Experience with golf or sports-related establishments is a definite plus!
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
