Location: This remote position is open to candidates located in Alaska.
Role Summary
This role involves assisting veterans with medical and behavioral health care inquiries in a fast-paced, supportive contact center environment. As a vital part of this team, you will handle inbound and outbound communications, resolve discrepancies, and ensure that every interaction reflects the commitment to service excellence. This is a remote position with extensive training provided to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service to veterans, addressing inquiries related to care authorizations, provider availability, claims status, and more.
Handle inbound calls and chat messages, ensuring first-call resolution whenever possible and adhering to escalation protocols when necessary.
Perform outbound calls to schedule appointments as requested by veterans or the VA.
Resolve administrative discrepancies through thorough account research and review.
Maintain accurate documentation and use provided tools effectively to support veterans needs.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in a customer service role with performance metrics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and navigating the internet.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of health services.
Contact center experience, including handling chat messaging.
Military experience with a focus on service delivery is a plus.

Flexible shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM (AK time).
