Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) is responsible for overseeing the entire nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care, and managing nursing operations. The DNS leads nursing staff, develops and implements care policies, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations to optimize patient outcomes and facility performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage nursing staff.
Develop and implement care policies.
Ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee patient care plans and quality improvement.
Manage budgets and resources.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
RN with a valid license
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred.
Long-term care experience preferred
Working with the senior population is preferred
Extensive experience in nursing management.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Setting: Skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, memory care, and a rapid recovery program designed to assist residents in their transition back home following surgery or illness
