Position: Administrative Assistant - Vision Department
Location: Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Pay Rate: $27 - 30/hr
Job Type: ASAP - 03/31/2025
Working Shift: 8 am to 5 pm (Monday - Friday)
Overview: Provides administrative support with the daily activities of a health center directly supporting site leadership by fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors and patients, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, billing, and filing.
Front-Office setting
Plans and schedules meetings including room reservations, invitations and accommodations, and food and beverage
Creates original Word documents and PowerPoint Presentations
Handles administrative duties including but not limited to: answering incoming calls, copying, binding, opening and routing mail, electronic and standard file management, including contact directory, and correspondence drafting
Event planning and coordination
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must have front-office support experience in a Healthcare setting
Knowledge of Medical Practice software is a plus
Must have experience with basic Billing/ Coding
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability and comfort level communicating with senior management
