Seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our team in Vernon, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in temporary tent structure rentals, large equipment rentals, or event rental sales. Compensation Structure:
Base Salary: $50,000 per year, plus commission
Commission Structure:
3% on new business up to $999,999
4% on new business from $1M to $1,999,999
5% on new business above $2M
The commission is paid monthly on invoices that are closed and paid in full.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Present and promote rental products, highlighting features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Negotiate contract terms and close deals efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, proposals, and follow-ups.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide regular sales reports and insights to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have 3 years of experience in sales (or related), preferably in the tenting, event rentals, or large equipment rental industry.
Proven track record in business development, territory planning, and closing sales.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.
Proficient in using CRM software and inventory management systems.
High level of self-motivation, persuasiveness, and strategic thinking.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high ethical standards.
Salary : $50,000
