As a key member of the fund development team, the
Fund Development Specialist
will serve as an expert analyst and data manager, ensuring the accuracy and continuity of Teen Lifeline’s CRM database and other software used in stewarding and motivating donations. This, in turn, will allow this individual to generate thorough reports, making recommendations and strategies to maximize further giving potential.
In addition, this person will handle various development tasks, including donor stewardship, cataloging auction items for special events, and performing research on potential donors and fundraising opportunities.
Staying current on Teen Lifeline’s initiatives and services, this person will interact with all staff and volunteers and play an integral role supporting the fundraising goals and initiatives of Teen Lifeline to make a further impact in the community.
Teen Lifeline has been on the front lines of suicide prevention in Arizona for the past 38 years. We work to provide essential support for teens throughout Arizona with our peer-to-peer crisis hotline, suicide prevention education and outreach in schools and the community, our Life Skills Development program for our teen volunteers, and our recently implemented Caring Contacts program that supports teens after a psychiatric emergency. Our vision is that all youth possess a sense of connectedness and hope for their future by working to prevent teen suicide in Arizona through enhancing resiliency in youth and fostering supportive communities.

- Starting salary $52,000, based on experience

- Location

- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 3-5 years relevant work experience in fund development and/or sales.
- Previous experience in a non-profit/behavioral health environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of donor database management systems a plus.
