Job Overview
The Executive Director serves as the organizational leader responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, and administration of a TEB group home. This role involves providing visionary leadership, overseeing all aspects of the organization, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of adolescent girls in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
Develop and articulate a clear vision and mission for the organization.
Lead strategic planning efforts to guide the organization's growth and impact.
Make informed decisions aligned with the organization's values and goals.
Support Teens Excelling Beyond Foundation Group Home in a manner compliant with
DHS licensing regulations and guidelines, to obtain and maintain necessary
certifications, while keeping the CEO and Board of Directors adhere to all reports from
such certifying agencies. Adherence to all DHS regulations regarding residential services.
Meet all expectations outlined in the DHS Executive Director requirements.
2. Program Oversight:
Provide direction and oversight to program development and implementation.
Ensure that programs are evidence-based, aligned with the organization's mission, and
responsive to the unique needs of teenage girls.
Monitor program outcomes and make data-driven improvements.
3. Financial Management:
Develop and manage the organization's budget in collaboration with the finance team.
Oversee financial sustainability, fundraising initiatives, and grant applications.
Ensure responsible stewardship of resources and compliance with financial regulations.
4. Staff Leadership and Development:
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified staff in collaboration with the HR department.
Provide leadership, support, and supervision to staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities for team members.
5. Community Engagement and Partnerships:
Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including residents, families,
staff, board members, and community partners.
Represent the organization in the community, advocating for the needs and rights of teenage girls.
Cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance services and resources.
6. Advocacy and Public Relations:
Advocate for policy changes and initiatives that benefit the population served.
Represent the organization in public forums and engage in public relations activities.
Articulate the organization's impact and success stories to diverse audiences.
7. Board Relations:
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to establish organizational goals and policies.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Board on the organization's activities and financial health.
Work closely with the Board to ensure effective governance and adherence to the
organizations mission.
8. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards.
Implement quality assurance measures, including program evaluations and continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
Extensive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in youth services or residential settings.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, fundraising, and financial management.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to nurture and sustain a trauma-informed organization.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in residential care.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
