What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERRF Teacher/Tutor (certificated) position at Tehama County Department of Education?
Job Summary
2.5 -3 hours per day - Up to 5 Days per Week
The SERRF Teacher Tutor will assist students in the afterschool program by reviewing classroom or curricula topics and assignments including : homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks as needed. Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom in a fun, engaging and hands-on manner.

NOTE to TCDE employees :
Employees that apply for a promotional opportunity will typically be placed on step one of the new higher classification. If step one is lower than their current salary, they will be placed at a step that provides for at least a 5% increase. If they have previous experience in a same higher classification they will be placed commensurate with that verified experience (lower classification experience does not apply to higher classifications).
NOTE : TCDE is in Red Bluff, CA; 2 hours north of Sacramento.
