Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Sarepta, LA facility.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assisting personnel in completing maintenance tasks and ensuring the shop and its equipment are well-maintained.
Your primary functions will include:
- Working closely with maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Following instructions from the maintenance team leader.
- Providing support to manufacturing teams in achieving quality products.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding fundamentals.
- Basic math skills and good verbal and written communication abilities.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a $3,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment. You will also enjoy weekly pay and opportunities for overtime when required.
**Requirements and Responsibilities**
The successful candidate must be able to work in close proximity to high-temperature molds and materials, wear personal protective equipment, and operate company vehicles safely.
In addition, you should possess basic computer skills, be able to communicate effectively in stressful situations, and recognize and respond to potential hazards.
**Work Environment**
You will be working in a plant environment where there may be exposure to noise, dust, glass fibers, fumes, and heat.
