Role and Responsibilities
The Industrial Engineering Technology Intern will be responsible for creating and maintaining Work Standards for direct labor and machine cycle times, performing time studies, and participating in continuous improvement projects. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work on various projects related to industrial engineering, including research, testing, data gathering, measurements, or engineering analysis in an office, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Science
- Previous internship, work experience, or knowledge of engineering, automotive, or manufacturing strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard Industrial Engineering techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
