What are the responsibilities and job description for the Windows Engineer position at TEK Connexion?
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and work with containers.
- Address vulnerabilities that arise.
- Collaborate with teams on product releases.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows Engineering and Ansible across two teams.
- Consult with engineering staff to assess the interface between hardware and software, define specifications and performance requirements, and resolve customer issues.
- Advise customers on software system maintenance or directly perform the maintenance.
- Develop and oversee software system testing and validation procedures.
- Communicate project status, proposals, and technical issues related to software system design and maintenance to customers or other departments.
- Lead software programming efforts and manage documentation development.
Technical Skills (6 years of experience):
- Windows Administration with Ansible.
- Experience with containers.
- WebSphere (strongly preferred).
