Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to oversee engineering design, project coordination, and execution for industrial projects in compliance with NFPA/NEC, API, and American standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in instrumentation, automation, and electrical systems, along with onsite coordination experience between offshore teams, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) design for projects across Concept, FEED, and Execution phases
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for project execution
- Review and prepare equipment datasheets, specifications, RFQs, and tender documents
- Work with vendors for procurement, FAT/SAT testing, and commissioning
- Manage site activities, including installation, troubleshooting, and coordination with contractors
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
- 10 years of experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, or Refinery industries
- Expertise in Field Instrumentation, DCS, PLC, UPS, and ESD systems
- Hands-on experience with 240V & 480V electrical systems
- Strong project management, vendor coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
