Role : Industrial Automation & Controls Developer

Location : Warren, MI Experience Required : 10 years Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation & Controls Developer with a strong background in automotive manufacturing plant support, automation, and robotics . The ideal candidate will be skilled in PLC programming, industrial machine vision, robotics, and automation system integration .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide production support and maintenance for automotive plant assembly lines.
  • Expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC-5, ControlLogix, PanelView , and DVT machine vision programming .
  • Hands-on experience with FANUC and ABB robots with strong robot programming skills.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron).
  • Develop and deploy manufacturing processes for laser welding, spot welding, and GMAW applications , including weld parameter development, material testing (Aluminum / Steel), and process optimization .
  • Provide support and training in industrial controls and automation within an assembly plant environment.

Essential Skills :

  • Industrial Machine Vision Expert with 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing plants.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in industrial controls, automation, PLC programming, robotics, human-machine interface (HMI), industrial sensors, and error-checking systems .

    • Desirable Skills :

  • Experience working with plant networking devices (routers, switches).
  • Knowledge of TCP / IP networking and data communication protocols .
  • Hands-on experience configuring and connecting IoT devices on the plant floor.
  • Experience troubleshooting and working with Linux systems and servers .
  • Familiarity with vision systems such as Matrox, Cognex, and Keyence software .

    • Technical Competencies :

  • Microsoft Azure, IoT Intelligent Edge Computing, Cisco ACI, Cisco & Juniper Network Security & Routing .
