Role Description :
The Plastic Design Engineer will be responsible for designing plastic components, ensuring Design for Manufacturability (DFM), tool design, and overseeing the plastic manufacturing process. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with medical device regulations and delivering high-quality designs that meet industry standards.
Competencies :
EIS : Medical Device & Regulations
Experience Required :
6-8 years
Essential Skills :
Expertise in plastic design, including DFM, tool design, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with medical device regulations and compliance standards.
Proven ability to collaborate with teams to create high-quality and manufacturable designs.
Compliance with health and safety protocols, including Covid-19 vaccination requirements or exemptions based on medical or religious grounds.
Desirable Skills :
Additional expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques and processes.
Experience with evaluating and adapting to regulatory changes based on state-specific requirements.
Ability to ensure adherence to organizational health and safety policies, including Covid precautions for exempt individuals.
