Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Food Manufacturing Technician II to work on-site with our client, a top-tier sustainable food production company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities :
- Support formula validations and prepare product samples with testing and organized data collection.
- Work in laboratory test kitchen to prepare, cook, and serve food samples for sensory test panels.
- Perform laboratory tasks in an organized and efficient manner, in accordance to safety practices in working with the laboratory equipment, chemicals and other materials.
- Develop and carry out cooking SOPs for assays and product validations for product end users.
- Coordinate product samples for testing from multiple sources.
- Document and communicate test findings effectively using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Support complex experiments in data collection and sample coordination
- Work in laboratory test kitchen to prepare, cook, and serve food samples for sensory tests
- Coordinate sample logistics for validation testing (may involve some heavy lifting)
- Conduct cook tests on commercial cooking equipment for 4-8 hours at a time (with breaks)
- Learn new equipment operation and methods based on new products and experiments
- Produce food-safe benchtop samples for sensory, analytics, and consumer testing
- Support multiple projects with general lab kitchen tasks
- Must demonstrate excellent record keeping and accountability
- Participate in internal sensory panels
- Be responsible for data organization and other duties as assigned
- Be flexible with other related duties
- Follow all work area PPE requirements
