We are currently seeking experienced Permitting Specialists based in the Philadelphia market with a hybrid office/remote work schedule. Ideal candidates should be detailed oriented be able to research state and local permit requirements, able to interpret and apply permit regulations, research and solve complex problems, extensive experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure permit approval.

We are currently seeking experienced Permitting Specialists based in the Philadelphia market with a hybrid office/remote work schedule. Ideal candidates should be detailed oriented be able to research state and local permit requirements, able to interpret and apply permit regulations, research and solve complex problems, extensive experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure permit approval.
- This role involves preparing and submitting permit applications, securing entitlements, managing joint-use programs, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and policies.
- The individual will interface with various authorities, maintain tracking systems, manage records, and support financial and vendor management tasks.
- Assist with all aspects of preparing and submitting permits.
- Secure entitlements for installations in public rights of way, utility easements, DOT standards, and private property.
- Engage with municipal, county, and state authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain and update tracking systems accurately, including third-party management systems.
- Develop and maintain accurate, complete project and program files.
- Create and maintain permit records, including inspections, permitting, billings, policies and code compliance verification.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers to foster positive joint-use cooperation and collaboration.

- Communicate, coordinate, and follow up with Engineering and Operations personnel to identify the need for joint-use notifications.
Requirements
- Strong ability to communicate effectively.

- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
