Job Description
TekFive would like to hire a NASA Cybersecurity Vulnerability Engineer supporting hybrid delivery of Cybersecurity Posture Assessment Services (CYPRESS.C2.00042) local to NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), in Huntsville, AL with an approximate start date of March 3, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and report organizational Agency vulnerability scanning security posture trends.
Analyze and report Nessus technical system security posture trends.
Ensure security policies are followed when performing vulnerability scanning operations
Operate commonly used COTS and Open-Source hosts-based and web application scanning
Perform scanning and perform vulnerability identification and assessment
Understand vulnerability remediation and system hardening procedures on Unix, Linux, Windows and/or Apple systems.
Familiarity with Web Application Vulnerability Scanning Tools such as BurpSuite, Web Inspect or Qualys.
Present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree, 5 – 11 years of experience in Enterprise Vulnerability Scanning or Enterprise large level scale system and Network Engineering
Clearance:
OPM Tier 4 Background Investigation required for this position
