Title: Lab Audit Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX – On-site across four locations
Duration: 6 months
Overview: We are seeking experienced Network Lab Audit Engineers for on-site engagements at Labs in Dallas, TX, and the Baltimore, MD/Ashburn, VA area. The primary responsibility is to audit approximately 20,000 network devices, ensuring accurate documentation of key parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct an on-site audit of network devices across multiple lab locations.
- Identify, power on (if necessary), and access various network devices.
- Capture and document critical device parameters, including IP addresses.
- Enter collected data into a shared Excel spreadsheet for centralized tracking.
- Work independently while coordinating with other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records and follow standardized data entry procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience working in network labs, preferably multi-OEM environments.
- Strong understanding of network devices and ability to turn up devices that may be powered off upon arrival.
- Proficiency in accessing and navigating network devices to retrieve key information.
- Experience with Excel for data entry and documentation.
- Familiarity with Verizon Labs and their infrastructure is a strong plus.
- Ability to work on-site at designated lab locations and travel locally as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
