Our client seeking an accomplished IT Applications Engineer to join its Enterprise Applications Team. Under the direction of the Applications Manager, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to lead the migration of our enterprise systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management and in-depth knowledge of Windows OS migration. This role involves collaborating with various teams, stakeholders and vendors to ensure a smooth transition from Windows 10 to 11, enhancing productivity and efficiency across the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive migration plan for transition systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11, tailored to the organization’s requirements
- Identify potential risks and create contingency plans to mitigate migration delays
- Assess compatibility of critical internal business applications for Windows 11 compatibility (iManage, Litera, Kofax, Thompson Reuters, Office 365, etc)
- Configure and test deployment utilizing as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) or MECM
- Provide guidance on best practices and ensure that the implementation meets security, compliance, and
data governance requirements.
