Client offers per diem and mileage reimbursement, as the State requires.Job Description : As an Access Controls Specialist, the primary responsibilities include installing access controls and alarm systems in various facilities, supporting client requests for physical security hardware installation (cameras, access control, and alarm systems), designing and mapping wiring, programming channels, and mapping placement between doors and systems. High attention to detail, accuracy, and familiarity with security system documentation and mapping are essential.Roles and Responsibilities :
- Installation of security systems, including electrical systems, CCTV / video management systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and other security devices.
- Mapping and placement of security drawings and systems.
- Programming and cleaning up security channels, programs, and devices.
- Connecting panels, badge readers, and associated wiring.
- Ensuring safety practices and attention to installation tools and procedures.
- Providing support for end-client security system needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Must Haves :
- 3 years of relevant experience related to the installation of security systems (electrical systems, CCTV / video management systems, access control systems, alarm systems, and other technical security systems and devices) and in a variety of facilities.
- Deep knowledge of security systems and how to install them.
- Experience how to program alarm systems, and circuit properly (i.e. connecting a panel and badge reader, and associated wiring)
- Experience with industry standard installation tools and safety practicesSkills Required :
