NOTE: Candidates will be working on 2nd shift Rotational Shifts including weekends and the shift hours will be between 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM CST
Details:
• Managing and implementing end-to-end Linux based infrastructure that hosts many critical core components such as Database, GRID Computing, Enterprise Job Schedulers Messaging Platforms.
•Supporting and monitoring application infrastructure and various internal core components and dependent technologies.
•Ensures application issues on supported infrastructures are addressed, proactively fixed even before user impact.
•Will support release management, troubleshooting issues, Incident problem management etc.
• Excellent knowledge in Linux OS internals and Operational OS skills.
• Expertise in handling overall IT Infrastructure Scheduled maintenance.
• Monitoring of the Core environment components.
• Process adherence and efficiency in handling Incident and problem management.
• Excellent Operational skills, troubleshooting Production issues and identifying Root Cause Prevention.
• Candidate should be able to connect the dots and conclude complex Infrastructure issues quickly.
• Capacity planning - Provide analysis of Core and LOB Infrastructure capacity review to ensure a sufficient level of infrastructure capacity, availability, and resiliency.
• Disaster Recovery - Design, document and automate Core component per Datacenter DR plans.
• Development of Core Tools and Automation.
• Knowledge in Python/Shell/Perl scripting.
• Understands overall infrastructure well and ability to understand different technologies (In-house/Open source/Third-party).
• Documenting Lesson Learned Knowledge Articles on various technical issues.
• Provide governance and oversight to stakeholders to ensure that core platform is fully compliant with the firm’s disaster recovery policies and standards.
• Good interpersonal skills and experience in working with different regional teams (AMRS, EMEA ASIA).
• Self-motivated and results oriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Background in large Enterprise experience.
•Able to work in a fast paced environment whilst meeting deadlines
