Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Manager

Job Summary
The MPE will identify, plan, and implement line modifications to align with customer needs. The MPE will also
assist with forecasting, sourcing, and managing technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The
MPE is responsible for the engineering and technical aspects of ongoing line improvement projects and will
establish criteria to ensure the delivered project and original scope match.
A successful MPE can work with multi-discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management and
supervision skills. Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills are a
prerequisite.

Responsibilities
• Identifying, preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned line improvement projects
based on company needs and current line capability assessments.
• Identifying and cultivating the best vendors to complete outsourced line upgrades.
• Interacting with sales to understand customer needs and requirements and formulating a manufacturing
solution to meet specifications and timing requirements.
• Cooperating and communicating with the exec team, sales team, and engineering manager on the
status of line improvement projects or processes.
• Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
• Creating standards to measure the line improvement success.
• Ensuring the line improvements compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance
standards, and specifications.
• Continue to support manufacturing with processing specifications and processes.
• Support and lead maintenance team with line upgrade within their capabilities, while outsourcing where
required.
• Assist NPD with evaluating new technologies, line trials, and machinery costs.
• Work with plant manager to identify continuous improvement processes and KPIs.

Qualifications
• 5 or more years TekModo manufacturing experience.
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design software.
• The ability to work with multi-discipline projects.
• Excellent project management and supervision skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.

Physical Demands
• The employee is required to walk, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb,
crawl and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Most duties are performed in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Regular use of mezzanine steps and ladders to access equipment.
