Summary
Facilitate communication between the customer and the company, before, during and after a commercial offer ensuring the feasibility and following up on the development of the project once it has been approved. Contribute to sustainable and profitable business growth. Aligned with the product and customer commercial strategic plan as well as ensure customer satisfaction with the support of all functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for all employees
- All the employees have the authority and responsibility to ensure Teknia Nashville LLC and Teknia USA Inc. comply with customer and stakeholder requirements.
- All employees should have training and an awareness of how their work impacts our customers and stakeholders.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Have the authority to request revisions in the management system for any deviation detected.
- Have the responsibility to comply with the requirements of the IMS, standards and regulatory laws for the protection and care of the environmental, as well as to request and propose actions on safety issues.
- Responsible for notifying the personnel responsible for product conformity of deviations detected in the process that violate the quality of the product and affect the customers requirements as well as to respect the guidelines defined for security.
Qualifications & Cost Calculations
- Coordination with Business Manager to prepare quotations and send them to customers.
- Compliance with commercial procedures and necessary documentation according to quality standards.
- During the Bid process ensure good communication with customer and internal coordination with NAFTA functional areas and commercial management.
- Understand the customers’ strategy, competition, and market, with support from engineers when necessary.
- Report periodically on commercial status and progress against objectives
- Preparation of commercial offers and quotations for both existing and new customers.
- Cost review with finance staff.
- Information gathering with the different areas.
- Coordination and cost comparison with other plants of the group. Update and control products prices on a regular basis according to customer agreement.
Customer Services
- Attend and resolve complaints or doubts related to the delivery and collection of the product.
- Making and updating Bids contract management
- Ensure customer assistance on new offers, studies, feasibility, and technical discussions, change requests and any other product or process development related to a business activity.
Technical Competences
- Process knowledge: stamping. Manufacturing concepts knowledge
- Process technical knowledge: plastic overpowering & welding.
- Project development & APQP core tools.
- Product cost (Activate based cost model, direct cost model, asset cost methodologies).
- Basic financial concepts knowledges

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
